Moulders Consulting: Offering A Top-Quality ERP For High Tech Manufacturing
Moulders Consulting specialises in crafting customised MRP/ERP solutions tailored to the specific needs of the high tech manufacturing sector.
The systems we install are the product of seasoned manufacturing professionals with over 40 years of combined industry experience, and our team comprises experts from various roles within high tech manufacturing – including sales, marketing, operations, and management.
Through the collective expertise of our staff members, we have successfully introduced several leading ERP/MRP systems to the high tech manufacturing industry. This has empowered our clients with streamlined processes, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved outcomes.
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems play a pivotal role in managing the material requirements for the manufacturing process, ensuring the procurement of necessary resources for product manufacturing.
The MRP process consists of six key steps:
- Production Schedule Development: The MRP system calculates the production schedule based on customer demand and inventory levels, determining the quantity of products to be manufactured over a specified period.
- Material Requirements Assessment: After establishing the production schedule, the system assesses material requirements by considering product volume, material types, and quantities needed for production, including a margin for waste.
- Inventory Check: The system verifies inventory levels to ensure they meet material demands.
- Purchase Order Generation: If resources are insufficient to fulfil material demands, the MRP system generates purchase orders for required materials, specifying quantity, delivery dates, and other relevant details.
- Progress Tracking: The MRP system monitors the progress of generated purchase orders, including tracking delivery dates, identifying delays, and addressing any delivery issues.
- Plan Adjustment: In response to any changes in the production plan, the MRP system adjusts the production schedule accordingly to ensure seamless operations.
At Moulders Consulting, our mission is to provide comprehensive MRP/ERP solutions that optimise manufacturing processes and drive business success!
