Our team brings together a wealth of experience across roles including sales, marketing, operations, management, and more.
With the collective expertise of our team, we’ve successfully introduced several leading ERP/MRP systems into the manufacturing space.
These solutions have helped our clients streamline processes, boost operational efficiency, and achieve better results overall.
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a critical tool in the manufacturing process, ensuring that the necessary resources are available to meet production demands.
Here’s how the MRP process works in six key steps:
Develop A Production Schedule: Based on customer demand and current inventory levels, the MRP system calculates the number of products that need to be produced during a specific period.
This forms the foundation for the overall production plan.
Calculate Material Requirements: Once the production schedule is set, the system determines the materials needed for manufacturing. It calculates the quantity and type of materials required for each product, factoring in a margin for waste.
Check Inventory: The system then checks current inventory levels to ensure there are enough materials to meet production needs.
Generate Purchase Orders: If there are material shortages, the MRP system automatically generates purchase orders for the required supplies, specifying the quantity, delivery date, and other essential details.
Track Progress: The system monitors the progress of any purchase orders, keeping track of delivery dates, delays, or other issues to ensure everything stays on track.
Adjust The Plan: If there are changes to the production schedule, the MRP system adjusts accordingly to ensure the plan remains aligned with current needs.
Through this process, our MRP systems help manufacturers efficiently manage resources, avoid delays, and maintain smooth production operations.
