Automotive Manufacturing ERP
Moulders Consulting: Offering A Top-Quality Automotive Manufacturing ERP
At Moulders Consulting, we develop bespoke automotive manufacturing ERP/MRP solutions specifically tailored to the industry’s needs.
Designed by professionals with over 40 years of automotive manufacturing experience, our systems ensure departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and management all work more efficiently.
Leveraging our team’s expertise, we have introduced many leading ERP/MRP systems into automotive manufacturers, resulting in streamlined processes, efficient operations, and improved outcomes for our clients.
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems are essential for managing the material needs of the manufacturing process, proceeding through the following six key steps:
Production Schedule Development: Based on customer demand and inventory levels, the MRP system calculates the production quantity over a designated period, forming the basis of the production plan.
Material Requirements: The system calculates the materials needed by assessing the volume of products to be manufactured and the type and quantity of materials required, including a waste margin.
Inventory Check: The system ensures that inventory levels are sufficient to meet material demands.
Generate Purchase Orders: If resources are insufficient, the MRP generates purchase orders, detailing the required quantity, delivery date, and other specifications.
Track Progress: The system monitors the progress of purchase orders, including delivery dates, delays, or issues.
Adjust the Plan: The MRP system adjusts the production schedule as necessary in response to any changes in the production plan.
