Moulders Consulting: Offering A Top-Quality Medical Device Manufacturing ERP

At Moulders Consulting, we specialise in developing bespoke ERP/MRP solutions tailored specifically for the medical sector.

Our systems are built by a team of experienced professionals with over 40 years of combined expertise, spanning areas such as sales, marketing, operations, and management.

Thanks to this extensive knowledge, we’ve successfully implemented a range of leading MRP/ERP systems into countless companies, helping our clients streamline processes, boost efficiency, and achieve better results.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems are essential for managing the resources needed in manufacturing, ensuring everything is in place to produce goods effectively.

The MRP process involves six key steps:

Developing The Production Schedule – Based on customer demand and stock levels, the system calculates how many products need to be produced within a specific timeframe, forming the foundation of the production plan.

Calculating Material Requirements – Once the production schedule is set, the system determines the materials needed, considering both the quantity required for each product and a margin for waste.

Checking Inventory – The system ensures there’s enough stock on hand to meet material requirements.

Generating Purchase Orders – If stock levels are too low, the MRP system automatically generates purchase orders for the required materials, specifying details like quantities and delivery dates.

Tracking Progress – The system keeps track of purchase orders, monitoring delivery times, potential delays, and any issues that may arise.

Adjusting The Plan – If changes to the production schedule are needed, the MRP system adjusts accordingly to keep everything on track.
