Our MRP/ERP systems are developed with insights from industry veterans, ensuring they meet the real-world needs of manufacturers. This extensive experience has allowed us to deliver systems that enhance process efficiency, streamline operations, and yield superior results for our clients.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems play a crucial role in managing the materials needed for the manufacturing process. Essentially, MRP ensures that you have the right materials available at the right time to meet production needs.

Here’s an overview of the six key steps involved in MRP:

Production Schedule Development: The MRP system begins by creating a production schedule based on customer demand and current inventory levels. This schedule outlines how many products need to be manufactured over a specific period, forming the basis for the production plan.

Material Requirements Calculation: Once the production schedule is set, the system calculates the material requirements. This involves assessing the volume of products to be made, and determining the type and amount of materials needed, including a buffer for waste.

Inventory Check: The system then verifies if the current inventory is adequate to meet the material needs outlined in the production plan.

Purchase Orders Generation: If inventory levels are insufficient, the MRP system generates purchase orders for the required materials, specifying quantities, delivery dates, and other details.

Progress Tracking: The system monitors the progress of purchase orders, keeping track of delivery dates, delays, and any issues that might arise.

Plan Adjustment: If there are changes in the production plan, the MRP system adjusts the production schedule accordingly to accommodate the changes.
