Moulders Consulting: Offering A Top-Quality Production Management ERP

At Moulders Consulting, we’ve crafted custom production management ERP/MRP solutions to meet the specific needs of the manufacturing industry.

Our systems are designed by manufacturing professionals with over 40 years of combined experience, ensuring they are tailored for the real-world challenges you face.

Our team includes experts from various roles such as sales, marketing, operations, and management. Leveraging our extensive knowledge, we’ve successfully introduced many top-quality ERP/MRP systems to the manufacturing industry.

These systems have helped our clients streamline their processes, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve better results.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems are crucial for managing the materials needed in the manufacturing process.

Here are the six key steps involved:

Production Schedule Development: The system calculates the production schedule based on customer demand and current inventory levels.

This determines the quantity of products to be produced within a specific timeframe and forms the basis of the production plan.

Material Requirements: Once the production schedule is set, the system calculates the necessary materials by assessing the volume of products to be made and the type and quantity of materials needed for each product, including a margin for waste.

Check Inventory: The system checks existing inventory to ensure there are enough materials to meet production needs.

Generate Purchase Orders: If the inventory is insufficient, the MRP system generates purchase orders for the required materials, detailing the quantities, delivery dates, and other relevant information.

Track Progress: The system tracks the progress of purchase orders, monitoring delivery dates and identifying any delays or issues that arise.

Adjust the Plan: If there are changes to the production plan, the MRP system adjusts the production schedule accordingly to ensure smooth operations.

By implementing our bespoke MRP/ERP solutions, manufacturing businesses can achieve more efficient operations and better overall performance.
