Moulders Consulting: Offering Top-Quality Advanced ERP Solutions For Manufacturing Companies

At Moulders Consulting, we specialise in developing advanced ERP solutions for manufacturers. Our systems are crafted by manufacturing experts with over 40 years of combined experience across various roles, including sales, marketing, operations, and management.

Understanding MRP Systems

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems are essential for managing the materials needed in the manufacturing process. Here’s how our MRP system works:

Production Schedule Development: Based on customer demand and current inventory levels, the system calculates the quantity of products to be produced within a given timeframe. This calculation forms the foundation of the production plan.

Material Requirements: Once the production schedule is set, the system calculates the materials needed. It assesses the volume of products to be manufactured and determines the type and quantity of materials required, including allowances for waste.

Inventory Check: The system checks existing inventory to ensure there are enough materials to meet production needs.

Generate Purchase Orders: If the inventory is insufficient, the MRP system generates purchase orders for the necessary materials, specifying quantities, delivery dates, and other details.

Track Progress: The system monitors the progress of purchase orders, including delivery dates, delays, and any issues that arise.

Adjust The Plan: If there are any changes to the production plan, the MRP system adjusts the schedule accordingly to ensure seamless operations.

With these advanced systems, we help manufacturers achieve streamlined operations and improved efficiency.
